2017 Western Maryland Kidney Ride

JOIN US for the RETURNING 2017 Western Maryland Bike Run
Saturday, September 16th

Honorary Chairs, Dr. John Davis and Susan Scarpelli invite you to JOIN US for a day of FUN in Cumberland, Maryland!

Unite with your community, friends and family to support those in need – all while enjoying a fun and exciting day at the Kidney Ride! This bicycle ride goes westbound on the GAP (Great Allegheny Passage) which will be patrolled for your safety and assistance. Rest stops, with refreshments, will be provided.

You can also pick the route that interests you most! Whether you decide to bike 16, 32 or 44 miles, there are options for everyone of any ability! You can be one of the first group of people to ride the Maryland Thunder from Cumberland to Frostburg and descend back down – mostly coasting –┬áto Canal Place in Cumberland to join the After Party!

Rest Stop Locations: Cash Valley Trailhead – 5 miles, Woodcock Hollow Trailhead – 10 miles and Frostburg Trailhead – 16 miles.

Everyone Can Ride! Represent loved ones, acquaintances and even strangers by building a team to raise funds and awareness about kidney disease! 30 million people have kidney disease – these are not numbers – these are people! We need to help make the lives of those who suffer with kidney disease easier! All proceeds raised will go to support patients through our Patient Emergency Assistance program.
