Where?  UMBC – Lot 22, 1000 Hilltop Circle,

International Recording Artist Philadelphia Freeway, best known for being signed to
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, is the Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk’s celebrity ambassador. He will give a special Rap performance and treat Walk participants to the world premiere of Free Will, a documentary detailing his battle with kidney disease and giving fans a personal, behind-the-scenes look of his life and career with glimpses of his fight against his medical issues. With appearances by DJ Khaled, 2Chains, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Lenny S., Jay Electronica and more, it also discusses Freeway’s feelings about dialysis and how it affects his music career.

Freeway was diagnosed with kidney failure in September 2015. Since that time, Freeway has partnered with the National Kidney Foundation where he hosted and performed at the National Kidney Foundation’s Philadelphia Kidney Walk at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Freeway is pleased to support Baltimore and help us to raise much needed funds for our programs and services which benefit kidney patients, their families and people at risk. Last year, Freeway was selected as the recipient of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF)’s Patient Advocacy Award where he was honored last year on World Kidney Day at the NKF Honors Awards Reception in Philadelphia.

C’MON Baltimore – JOIN US in welcoming Freeway as the Ambassador of the Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk! You will be able to meet Freeway and have your picture taken along with autograph opportunities.
