First Steps to Transplant is a virtual program that introduces kidney transplant and living donation for those just beginning their transplant journey. Finding a Living Donor is a virtual program for kidney patients and their loved ones. The program teaches the best, most effective strategies, and tips to share your story and find a living donor. People are waiting for a chance at a better life. The kidney transplant waiting list is getting longer, and in response, the National Kidney Foundation developed THE BIG ASK: THE BIG GIVE. This initiative is designed to increase awareness, living donation, and transplantation.
